Much like funerals or parades the arrival of Lion Versus brought together the most unlikely of friends and sounds. A mixture of the low whirring of fanned faces, gospel and guitar, creaking porches, swaying harmonicas, and chirping mandolins mixed with the low steady rumble of the city in transit. First forming in Savannah, GA in 2006 Lion Versus now Jeremy Samsoe, Chris Samsoe, Bill Smyth, Hilary White, Jonathan Chin, and Jeff Gregorio can still be heard lingering through the iron monuments and poorly lit brick streets in The City of Brotherly Love.
