On Wednesday January 12th Lion Versus played at North Star Bar with Black Horse Motel and The Sea Around Us. Black Horse Motel is a band full of impressive harmonies and old time sound with an indie rock kick. A great concoction, we enjoyed hearing them live. Also added to the bill was The Sea Around Us. Their flamenco, and  jazz influenced melodies meshed together wonderfully. Their rock was never just “noise” every note is purposeful while still being aggressive and experimental at times.
